Pari Dukovic: En Pointe – Dance & Fashion

Join us for a private, invite-only celebration of art, haute couture and dance in Miami!
Miami fine art gallery VISU Contemporary is opening an exhibition by award-winning photographer Pari Dukovic titled “Pari Dukovic: En Pointe – Dance & Fashion.” The exhibition will include photographs shot by Pari for the New York City Ballet featuring a decade of high-fashion designers’ costumes (Alexander McQueen, Virgil Abloh, Carolina Herrera, Narciso Rodriguez, Valentino, Gareth Pugh and Zac Posen) created for their annual Fall Fashion Gala, conceived by Sarah Jessica Parker. This is the first time these photographs are displayed in a gallery.
You and a plus one are invited for an intimate opening reception and artist meet-and-greet at VISU Gallery on Thursday, October 17, from 6-8 pm.
Dukovic shot the couture designs on 11 of the ballet’s renowned dancers for the Rizzoli book, New York City Ballet: Choreography & Couture, authored by NYCB Director of Costumes Marc Happel and released last year. The exhibition will feature an exclusive, never-before-seen outtake from the book.
