Overview

The Ladies’ Maid will provide personal assistance, wardrobe management, and household support to the principal. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to anticipate the needs of the principal while maintaining a professional demeanor.

The ideal candidate will be someone who loves what they do and does it out of choice not necessity. They should have a service heart and bring a positive energy and attitude to work. The current leadership have cultivated a positive work environment and are looking for someone who can add to it and not detract from it.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Lady’s Attendant, Personal Assistant, or similar role for high-net-worth individuals. 
  • Expertise in wardrobe management and personal styling. 
  • Ability to travel frequently and adapt to varying schedules and locations. 
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Discretion, loyalty, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. 
  • Be solutions focused rather than problem oriented. 
  • Ability to seamlessly fit into and help cultivate a harmonious work environment. 
  • Capable of passing an extensive background check and BAI interview. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record. 
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed. 
  • Free to travel with family and spend six months in remote location. 

Duties & Key Success Factors

Wardrobe Management 

  • Organize, maintain, and care for the principal’s wardrobe, including packing and unpacking for travel. 
  • Ensure clothing is cleaned, pressed, and ready for wear at all times. 
  • Coordinate and assist with seasonal wardrobe transitions and wardrobe inventory management. 
  • Perform or coordinate alterations and repairs as needed. 

Personal Assistance 

  • Assist the principal with dressing, grooming, and personal styling. 
  • Manage personal errands, such as shopping for clothing, accessories, or personal items. 
  • Support the principal with daily routines and special events, ensuring seamless preparation and execution. 

Travel Support 

  • Coordinate and prepare for travel between Hawaii and Utah, ensuring all personal belongings and essentials are packed and organized. 
  • Maintain an updated inventory of travel necessities and arrange for replacements as needed. 
  • Adapt to different environments and provide consistent, high-quality support during travel. 

Household Support 

  • Maintain the principal’s living spaces in a tidy, organized, and comfortable manner. 
  • Collaborate with other household staff to ensure the principal’s preferences are met. 
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks directly related to the principal’s needs. 

Other Duties 

  • Handle special requests and ad hoc tasks with flexibility and efficiency. 
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all matters. 

Other Considerations

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, and stretching.
  • Ability to negotiate a multi-story house with stairs many times a day.
  • Ability to use a ladder up to 6’
