Overview
This is a temporary position that will end on September 20th. Unless a permanent arrangement has been made.
A family in Fisher, IN, is seeking a professional to help the Estate Manager and Principals extend the service goals and needs of the primary residence to the Luxury RV when they travel. This position will require travel to event markets ahead of the family and will be responsible for the set-up and take-down of the luxury coach and ensuring the high standards of hospitality are achieved. Additionally, when not traveling, this position will serve as a Household Assistant at the main family residence. Core responsibilities will extend to light housekeeping, wardrobe management, and light cooking.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, be highly adaptable, and be capable of delivering discrete luxury service in a confined environment. This position is akin to a Bosun, Deckhand, and/or Stew on a <50 meters/<200 feet Yacht and offers many similar duties to a “Star Coach Driver” (no driving of RV required).
Requirements
- 2-5 years experience working in an HNW environment delivering high-end luxury service.
- Experience with Yachts or Luxury RVs.
- Experience with high-level hospitality.
- Ability to provide understated luxury service without drawing attention to the Principals.
- Ability to communicate (verbal and written) and build positive and productive relationships with a variety of teams from different company segments.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and engineering issues.
- Ability to create and meticulously follow checklists and processes.
- Independent worker with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
- Comfortable with smart home technology.
- Proficient in Google Workspace.
- Proficient with Apple-based products.
- Experience with garment care, packing/unpacking.
- Security minded.
- Comfortable with household pets.
- High level of discretion, loyalty, integrity, and honesty.
- Highly organized and excellent eye for detail.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Current and valid passport
- Non-Smoker.
- Capable of passing an extensive background check and BAI interview.
Duties & Key Success Factors – When Traveling
- Travel ahead of the family to each location where the mobile living unit will be deployed to prepare mobile living space for the Principal’s arrival; stay in the market through the Principal’s visit to ensure daily needs are met.
- Depending on the location, you will depart on Wednesday and return on Monday.
- Hotel accommodation will be provided at the location.
- Responsible for full set up of mobile living unit at each location, including, but not limited to, operating RV slides, leveling system, and generators.
- Coordinate directly with Mr. & Mrs. about daily needs and wants for current and future trips.
- Ensure the Estate Manager, EA, and Hospitality Team are updated on all activities, needs, and schedule adjustments.
- Communicate any engineering and mechanical needs to the RV builder and ensure the EM, EA, and Hospitality Teams are advised.
- Check with Hospitality Suite at each location regarding offerings and stock the RV with preferential items that are missing.
- Monitoring inventory and supplies, replenishment as needed.
- Pantry and grocery stocking.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the master suite and living spaces.
- Serve as on-call attended through the event weekend for needs of the Principals.
- Turndown service.
- Ensure that the bus is packed down and prepared for the next destination and coordinate any future needs with EM and/or EA.
- Provide post-weekend debrief to Estate Manager and EA including any maintenance and specialty restocking needs.
Duties & Key Success Factors – When at Residence
- Assist with various household tasks as directed by the Estate Manager. Filling in as there is a void in help. Interior & Exterior support as needed.
- Assist in handling grocery shopping and other errands to maintain the household’s supplies and needs.
- Assist in pet care, including scheduling grooming appointments, feeding vet visits, and medications. (two cats and one personal protection dog.)
- Some tasks may include, but are not limited to, light cooking, exterior furniture cleaning, poolside setup/takedown, light housekeeping, childcare, meal service at events, and general organization.
- A more comprehensive list of responsibilities will be provided and agreed upon if a permanent position is discussed.

Current Travel Weekends
- Weekends of August 16th, August 23rd, August 30st, and September 13th
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
- Frequent bending, stooping, and stretching.
- Ability to negotiate a multi-story house with stairs many times a day.
- Ability to use a ladder up to 6’
