Overview

Estate Management Solutions is currently working with a client in the Post Oak area of Houston who needs a part-time live-on housekeeper for weekend coverage.  The ideal candidate will be a professional housekeeper who can identify needs and address them without needing to be told or guided.

The housekeeper will stay in a one-bedroom/one-bath on the property but house separate from the Main House.  The candidate should be dynamic in their thinking and be able to shift their attention as the day progresses to help with the family’s needs.

The chosen professional will follow the below schedule:

• Friday 6 pm – 10 pm
• Downtime 10 pm – 7 am
• Saturday 7 am – 4 pm active work (engaged to wait 4 pm – 10 pm)
• Downtime 10 pm – 7 am
• Sunday 7 am – 4 pm (engaged to wait 4 pm – 6 pm)

Requirements

• Experience working in a Private.
• Legal to work in the US.
• Non-Smoker
• A positive attitude and love for what you do.
• Ability to seamlessly fit into a harmonious work environment.
• A strong grasp of English.
• High level of discretion, loyalty, integrity, and honesty.
• Highly organized and have an excellent eye for detail.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Capable of passing an extensive background check.
• Comfortable around dogs (20 lb. Cavapoo, very friendly)

Duties & Key Success Factors

• Light Housekeeping as needed. (Interior & Exterior)
• Laundry upkeep with a focus on Towels
• Light cooking to assist with Children’s breakfasts and lunches.
• Transport children as needed.
• Adult presence if parents are not at home.
• Understand the process for cleaning a room/space (top to bottom, left to right, least to most, etc).

Other Considerations

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Frequent bending, stooping, and stretching
• Ability to negotiate a multi-story house with stairs many times a day
• Ability to use a ladder up to 6’
