Luxury Household Staffing & Recruitment

EMS Domestics is our Staffing & Recruitment division.  We recognize that the people who work in your home are an integral part of your life and play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of living that you have become accustomed to.  Confidence in your employee’s skills and trust in their integrity is a critical start to a successful working relationship.  We utilize our 20+ years of hands-on experience in Private Service to best identify your staffing needs and find the perfect candidate for your home.  Placement services start with a site visit and property walk (preferred) or a phone conversation with the Principal or their representative to identify the home’s needs and the preferences of the position.  Once an engagement letter is signed and our retainer fee of $1500 is received, we begin drafting a Job Description for your review and approval. Candidates are submitted via email a short synopsis of our conversation with them and their Resume and EMS Skills Profile attached.

Household Manual Development

& Mentorship Program

This program is intended to aid Private Service Professionals in the development of their household manual and provide them with a sounding board for their obstacles and frustrations in a healthy and productive manner.

Through our one-of-a-kind program, we guide your professional in the collection and organization of information and put them into actionable systems that help improve the operational efficiency of the home and property. During our meetings with your Professional, we also help them improve their understanding of some of the difficulties they will face.  Our program covers both hard and soft skills.

Private Service Professional Training

While we have a variety of training options to offer, we are best known for our Essentials of Household & Estate Management course, where we teach Private Service Professionals how to organize their service environment, create a structure for their service environments and employees, and collect the information and documentation needed to develop a household manual and operational system.

To support their learning journey, participants gain access to a vast array of resources, including over 120 templates and resource documents. Additionally, we provide a Trello template to facilitate their progress tracking and task management.

This exceptional educational opportunity is seamlessly integrated into our Household Manual Development and Mentorship Program. The Keys Class

The Keys Class is a comprehensive 3.5-hour online course designed to equip professionals in the luxury residence industry with essential knowledge and skills. Participants will gain insights on avoiding common mistakes, effective communication, understanding the principal’s preferences, and personalized accommodation. Additionally, they will receive a complimentary one-on-one session with Peter Van Ryder via Zoom for personalized guidance. Enroll your staff today to empower them for success in their roles and enhance your satisfaction as principals.

We strongly believe that this information will significantly increase the chances of success for professionals. In fact, we require all our placement candidates to complete this course before starting any position obtained through EMS. Moreover, numerous prominent agencies also mandate this class for their candidates. We highly recommend that you consider implementing this requirement as well.
