Business professional nurturing financial growth symbolized by trees growing on coin stacks for a Property Manager role at Estate Management Solutions.

Property Manager

A Property Manager is a key operational professional responsible for overseeing the exterior, mechanical systems, grounds, and structural maintenance of private residences and estates. Often working in tandem with the House Manager, the Property Manager focuses on everything "outside the walls"—ensuring the estate’s infrastructure, landscape, vendor coordination, and safety protocols are functioning at the highest standard.

This role includes daily supervision of property operations, hands-on upkeep, vendor management, security oversight, and ensuring that the outdoor environment reflects the same excellence as the interior. The Property Manager often leads seasonal projects, maintains service logs, coordinates exterior staff or contractors, and protects the property’s long-term value through preventive care.

A successful Property Manager is hands-on, detail-oriented, and collaborative. They bring a unique blend of mechanical knowledge, team leadership, and administrative skills—ensuring the entire estate operates seamlessly and beautifully.

** While a Private Service Professional can handle most if not all of the above tasks, it is important to remember that every task takes time, and Employers should listen to their staff when they express how much time something takes to accomplish their duties. Your staff is dedicated to you, and "No" is not a part of their dictionary.  If they ask if something should take priority over another task or ask to delegate the task to maintain efficiency, they are really saying that their plate is full and additional tasks might prevent them from doing other duties.
