Manual Development & Mentorship Program

This program is intended to aid Private Service Professionals in the development of their household manual and provide them with a sounding board for their obstacles and frustrations in a healthy and productive manner.

Through our one-of-a-kind program, we guide your professional in the collection and organization of information and put them into actionable systems that help improve the operational efficiency of the home and property. During our meetings with your Professional, we also help them improve their understanding of some of the difficulties they will face.  Our program covers both hard and soft skills.

What's Included

The Essentials Course – including over 120 templates and resource documents to help develop the Household Manual.

Two (2) 1.5-hour 1-on-1 Zoom Video Conferences with Peter every month.

One (1) monthly call with the Principal to discuss shifting priorities and critical points.

Peter’s direct line to call in the event of a critical issue.

Representing every Private Service Professional with integrity, clarity, and equality.  We will screen every candidate with the same diligence, regardless of background or tenure.

Screening our clients, your future Principals, with the same diligence that we screen our candidates.  Gathering as much information as possible so that you can make the best decision for you and your career path.

Ensuring our clients follow all local and federal employment laws by placing their professionals on payroll.

Ensuring that our clients are paying acceptable wages for the job as presented, valuing our professionals’ hard work and dedication.

Being as transparent as we can without violating confidences about the potential difficulties or obstacles you may face in your new position.

Provide unintrusive support during the interview process and beyond placement.

Provide honest (and occasionally uncomfortable) feedback that we believe will improve your interview chances.

What We Won't Do

Contact your previous employers or references without your express consent and only after a minimum of one client interview.  (based on the dynamics of the position) 

Intentionally “ghost” a candidate.

Disclose any information that we discover that falls outside the law as outlined by the governance provided by the EEOC and FLSA.

Knowingly represent Principals that do not treat their employees as the professionals and human beings they are.

Knowingly represent Candidates that may have a negative impact on our clients or business or may cause damage to the Estate Management Solutions brand integrity.

Full Disclosure

Our commitment is to ensure accountability for all parties involved, including the Principal, the Professional, and ourselves. We will offer guidance and support whenever necessary and remain steadfast in upholding what is legally and ethically correct.

However, every candidate should know that an agency is contractually obligated to the Client/Principal.  As a business, we must uphold that bargain, but good agencies understand that the happiness involved is critical to the Business; Happy Professional = Happy Principal = Happy EMS

Experienced Guidance

With over 30 years of Hospitality & Private Service experience and multicultural perspective, we recognize that the people who work in your home are an integral part of your life and play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of living that you have worked diligently for.  Confidence in your employee’s skills and trust in their integrity is a critical starting point.

The Process

At EMS we charge a $1500 retainer fee* which is credited to your final placement invoice of 20% of the candidate’s annual salary.

Candidates resumes are accompanied by their “EMS Skills Profile,” providing deeper insight into their capabilities as a Professional.  We also believe that support after placement is critical in ensuring success.  We are there for our fellow professionals, both the ones that pay us and those that get paid.
