Estate Management Solutions is currently working with a down-to-earth Principal in Austin. Our client is looking for someone who will not only ensure that her 3,000 sq. ft. home is clean but will also help with grocery inventory, personal errands, and puppy sitting for her two labs.

The home consists of only Mrs. and the two Golden Retrievers. She travels often and doesn’t want to board or kennel them. She has rare but occasional guests stay with her, and during those times, hours may pick up a bit. But on a regular basis, you can expect to fall short of 40 hours, but she will guarantee the pay for the right person. Since it is just her in the home, a female is preferred.


  • Experience working in a Private Residence.

  • A strong grasp of English.
  • High level of discretion, loyalty, integrity, and honesty.
  • Highly organized and have an excellent eye for detail.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
  • Capable of passing an extensive background check.
  • Capable of accommodating and maintaining a highly flexible schedule.
  • Must love dogs & cats.
  • Must be willing to stay overnight while the principal is away.

Duties & Key Success Factors

  • Full charge housekeeping, including housekeeping, house cleaning, and deep cleaning.
    • Interior & Exterior
    • Exterior – Clean Patio Furniture, clean out pool skimmers, pick up trash.
    • Keep personal and storage closets.
    • Care of silver, crystal, and fine jewelry.
    • Care of stone, wood, ceramic, and metal surfaces.
    • Cleaning and mixing organic chemicals for cleaning.
  • Full charge laundry
    • Care and laundering of fine linens and fabrics.
    • Care and laundering of culture garments, including steaming, ironing, and mending.
    • Dry-Cleaning pick-up/drop-off
  • Dog Care (two well-behaved and loving Golden Retrievers – 90lbs each):
    • Grooming & Vet appointment coordination.
    • Walking and feeding.
    • Yard clean up.
  • Inventorying and ordering household supplies.
    • Sundry inventory & stocking.
    • Grocery inventory & stocking.
    • Garage and other facility spaces.
  • Light meal prep.
  • Vendor monitoring & supervision
  • Miscellaneous personal errands.
  • Airport drop-off and pick-ups.

Other Considerations

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
  • Ability to walk two 90-pound Golden Retrievers several miles daily.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, and stretching.
  • Ability to negotiate a multi-story house with stairs many times a day.
  • Ability to use a ladder up to 6’
