Overview

A family located in the Far Northeast of the DFW metroplex is looking for an Executive Housekeeper to help organize and maintain the cleanliness of their home (8,000 sq. ft), their parents’ home ~2 miles away (once per week cleaning), and an additional home nearby. The total square feet is approximately 20,000.

The ideal candidate will be able to communicate clearly the needs of the home and proactively manage their schedule to accommodate the different locations. The candidate will also be able to help the principal navigate having full-time household staff for the first time at their primary residence.

Requirements

• 5-8 years’ experience managing a Residence for HNW clients.
• Established longevity.
• Ability to seamlessly fit into a harmonious work environment.
• Strong communicator, both written and verbal.
• High level of discretion, loyalty, integrity, and honesty.
• Highly organized and excellent eye for detail.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Capable of passing an extensive background investigation.
• Cleaning chemical usage and mixing.
• Familiar and comfortable with the following technologies:
  • Smart home systems
  • Apple/Android
  • Mac/PC
  • Any other preferred apps/programs

Duties & Key Success Factors

• Full-charge housekeeping, including Housekeeping, House Cleaning, and Deep Cleaning.
• Organization of personal and storage closets.
• Care of surfaces such as stone, wood, ceramic, and metals.
• Vendor greeting and monitoring.
• Laundry, ironing, and mending of fine linens and fabrics.
• Maintain the dry-cleaning log.
• Establish and manage household inventories.
• Household supplies shopping.
• Simple meal preparation.
• Personal shopping and miscellaneous errands.
• Inventorying and ordering household supplies.
• Care of silver, crystal, and fine jewelry.

Other Considerations

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and stretching.
• Ability to negotiate a multi-story house with stairs many times a day.
• Ability to use a ladder up to 6’.
