**This position is on hold until the end of summer.** A private family in west Austin is seeking a detail-oriented, trustworthy and professional individual to serve as a Housekeeper for its 16,000 sf home. This full-time position will be responsible for performing a variety of daily cleaning activities including laundry and errands. Candidates must possess at least five consecutive years’ experience as a housekeeper, a great attitude and stellar references. Responsibilities: 

• Housekeeping for a dynamic luxury residence
• Monthly deep clean of home including windows, floors, and all surfaces
• Laundry, folding, and ironing of linens required (mending or sewing is a plus)
• Organize drawers and straighten closets
• Maintain stock of household supplies and groceries
• Execute daily, weekly, monthly scheduled cleaning of rooms in the home
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen area
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms
• Vacuum and spot clean carpets and rugs as needed
• Sweep and mop hard floors
• Dust and polish all surfaces
• Make beds daily and change linens
• Pick up and organize family living areas
• Family laundry and ironing
• Manage the family dry-cleaning
• Light meal preparation if requested
• Errands - occasionally picking up groceries, etc
• Assist with set-up service and clean up after meals
• Travel preparation - packing suitcases

Qualifications:

• Develop and maintain solid working relationships with family and other team members
• Positive attitude and ability to handle responsibilities with ease and calm demeanor

Full-Time Family Chef needed for busy family in Austin.  Large, young family in a very dynamic environment that will keep you on your toes.

• Create healthy vegan and southeast Asian menus
• Prepare daily lunch /salad bar station Mon-Fr
• Provide meals twice a week for family and guests, heat and eat/fresh bake, on sheet pans or oven microwave
• Leave heating / serving instructions for the family meals up to 8 people, taking extra guests and visitors into consideration
• Procure household food and pantry item
• Ensure food quality and taste is of the highest standards
• Maintain the health and hygiene in the kitchen
• Oversee kitchen operations keeping the pantry organized and removing expired items from pantry and fridge
• Provide kitchen administrative duties – inventory and restocking pantry and fridge
• Arrange for kitchen essentials, equipment purchases, etc
• Continue creative and culinary education
• Travel for work as directed

Part time Event Chef needed

• Thai, Southeast asian food knowledge a plus
• Work with Executive Event Chef to prepare menus for dinner events
• Able to fill in for Executive Event Chef if needed
• Assist with food prep and presentation
• Flexible to work events at short notice

Schedule: 50 hours per week flexible. M-F, 8 AM till 5 PM, except when traveling. Babysitting at night when requested, once, maybe twice a week tops. Compensation: 95,000 to start, raise after 90 days, and annual IRS COLA increases. Benefits: Vehicle for business and personal use.

A young growing family in the beautiful hill country of Fredericksburg, Texas, is looking for a couple to support their life, home, and property.  The residence is 4,000 sq. ft (with an additional four-car garage and apartment being built) on five manicured acres.  With an additional seven acres across the street.  Currently living in the home is Mr. & Mrs., a two-year-old with another on the way.  The family is planning on growing and is looking for someone for the long-term, someone that wants to find their last position before retirement.

• Carrying out minor carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work.
• Polishing floors and cleaning carpets.
• Dog feeding and bi-monthly grooming/washing (2 Mini Australian Shepherds).
• Managing contractors and vendors at the residence.

Other Considerations
